If he's shooting a high country x-11 pulling 70 lbs with a 30" dl and high country arrows with a 75 grain broad head then he probably is shooting that fast or faster.

I got 378fps out of my HCA IM shooting the Speedpro arrows. Since there are bows out there that are rated 30 fps faster then the IM I'm sure some are doing over 400fps.

there are a few ways to get it. most of them involve longer draw lengths and lighter than standard arrows,,, or as already mentioned, high country bows with their speed pro max arrows,,

High Country has bows with #80 limbs that can do that.

What difference does it make if hca will warranty them? If they were afraid the bow was going to blow up then they wouldn't warranty them.

Shure you didn't meet Whack&stack from WV. Not sure what speeds he is getting but with tricked out 100+ Lb. PSE's, he might even be North of that. For us non super humans, 400 FPS is BS from a hunting rig unless he took all the weight he could out of his arrow, then I don't look at it as hunting bow any longer, just a speed bow. I have my hunting bow (DNA) out for threads and a tune job, I am getting older so it is being converted to a 60 pdr, with the arrows I shoot, I don't think I will even break 300 FPS. But that's OK with me as long as it and I shoot straight.

I have an xlr8 at 83# with a carbon express 250 and got 386fps. It is possible.

I had a 70 lb omen set at 29in shooting speed pro max arrows with broad heads......379fps

Shot and killed 5 deer with it before I sick of drawing it. Lol

Definately possible, but not with a well matched and tuned hunting setup. This would be a horribly mismatched setup to say the least.
