Are you talking about the shrink wrap ones that have the fletchings on and you put them in hot water? If so I prefer the to glue my vanes on to the wraps. I have tried a couple of those shrink wrap ones and have had durability issues with them in very short periods of time.

The first shrink wrap vanes I tried were horrible. The wraps bubbled, they wrinkled and just looked awful. I recently tried some NAP Twisters on some XX78 2314's and they turned out great and shot great, too. Haven't shot them enough to comment on the durability issue.

i tried the wraps last year for the first time and i think they're great. it beats the hell out of having to run to the shop and have them re-fletched, which in most cases might take a few days depending on how busy the shop is. they're quick and super simple to put on. i haven't had any durability issues either, at least none more than a regular fletching. they're also just as accurate as arrows that are fletched the old way.

I can fletch my own arrows and I choose the shrink fletching these days. Durable and dependable. NAP twisters seem to be the best. I'll never fletch again.

I use wraps then glue the fletchings on. I find it easier to remove the wrap and fletchings than scrape the glue off the arrow from the vanes. I just use goo gone to get the sticky residue off the arrow clean with rubbing alcohol and done

Me, too. I just removed some wraps the other day, and it was a hell of a lot easier than scraping fletchings off. Just wipe it clean, put a new wrap on, and fletch again.

The shrink wraps are quick and easy.. Fly well.... But I was going through lots of them... Bought a bitzenberg jig.. Been fletching my own no wraps... Wieghs less... More durable... Only down side is re fleching... Its work to get the vanes off.... Good problem to have..

I've never used the wraps. I have a Bitz and an Arizona EZ fletch mini. The mini is so fast and easy to use it's probably about as easy as the full wraps in my opinion.

The shrink wraps r kinda cool. And they do work well from my experience. Only reason I still use a bitz is due to the fact I don't want wraps on the back of my arrow. I already use lighted nocks for hunting, so the extra weight is not beneficial to my foc.
