Was discussing the cost of travel with a fellow shooter and how we wish we could load up the bow on the bike and go. This got me thinking hard because my local range is alil over an hour away. SO i got off my butt today and spent a few hours in the garage making something to hold my bow case. It worked. It handled aggressive cornering, and 85mph and didnt move. Just thought id share. It does need some final touches, paint being the biggest one. I will say i am not unhappy lol a few hours of time, a welding sun burn and used nothing but scrap metal. *i am making another one for the wifes bike next.

I didnt notice it was there weight wise. The case had my cpxl and faktor 34 in it. It handled great and at 85 i wasnt being tossed around. I was surprised. My supermoto is easily off balanced but this didnt really effect it. As for keeping the wife on....thats a toughy.

Cool setup! I've been using a primos bow sling when I ride my Super Moto to the club.

Our Motorcycle cops have mounts for their AR15's, but never seen anything like that on a Motard. Pretty cool.

should post this on DIY also

The issue with a diy is each bike is going to be vastly different. The main idea is going to be the same but mounting points and shape will change. Lol just need time, a oxy/acyt torch, welder, and good tunes. If anyone wants id be more than happy to brainstorm with them on their bike.

OK, when are you buying an AT sponsorship and going into production? I need one for my V-Strom please. I think I might be a little more comfortable using one of the hard plastic cases, then maybe design a cage to lock the thing to the bike? Like one of the rectangle Plano cases maybe?

Once I started into Archery, I started riding my V-Strom less and less as I was always taking the truck because I was going somewhere to shoot!

I use to put my golf bag, strapped to the back rest behind me and head for the course. I had a Honda 750 back then and my wife and I traveled all over the west on that vehicle.....It was fun, inexpensive and it was flying a few feet off the ground. I loved that bike in 78 and 79 but it finally got too scary to ride in Houston so I thru in the towel......

I made one for my harley road glide 3 years ago . Mounted it where tour pact use to go so i can quick release it when not using it. Nothing says ******* like riding your bike to a shoot, shooting your bow than listening to nascar on the way back ( goto love it )
