I have the Fieldpod and it's cousin the Treepod. Actually the Treepod is more stable, but I put a plug in the bottom of the center tube on the Fieldpod, tapped a 1/4" thread for a hook and attach 8# of barbells from it to stabilize it better. I had the Chairpod and returned it - poorly designed in my book.

There is a heavy duty model available that I have not seen in person - if the footprint is the same then I don't see the advantage. However a larger footprint will occupy more area in the blind. I use my modified Fieldpod for my grandson's muzzleloader and crossbow, as well as mine if I sit in the blind.

They actually have 3 models. original maximum and magnum. each is heavier than the other. I have the original and it works great for me.

I have the original. I don't think it is as steady as a real bench setup, but I like it to sight in and confirm every arrow shoots a broadhead on point of aim. I like the way it works, the size/weight, etc. It does its job. I have not used it for hunting, but if I used a commercial ground blind, I certainly would.

The Fieldpod works well enough, just needs a bit of weight to stabile it a tad more.

I like mine alot, its nice to have the bow up and in shooting position when the situation arises. Both my rotators are torn and this makes it hard to hold a vert or a crossbow for more than seconds at a time...

I have the ChairPod, TreePod and recently purchased the FieldPod Max. I like all three. They each have their place in the field. I recently made a modification that works a lot better for me.
Here's a video on my modification and another video of on an add on and one more showing how well the FieldPod helps with making a steady, accurate shot.

I have balance points marked on my grandson's muzzleloader as well as our crossbows, plus Sharpie marks on the Fieldpod tubes for each. I found if your rifle/xbow is balanced over the center yoke, it takes minimum pressure to hold it in place, plus it allows for elevation changes if needed.

Nice camo!

I see Amazon has the original deadshot for $89 and the magnum for $168. Thats $30 less for the magnum and$10 for the original.
