For those who have a Sig Sauer Kilo 2000 range finder, does it actually increment by 0.1 yards when ranging in close? I purchased one about a month and a half ago and finally got around to using it this weekend for archery ranging. I found out that my range finder will not range to the nearest 0.1 yard as Sig Sauer advertises. I checked it in multiple scenarios from 10 to 60 yards and it always jumps up or down by 0.7-0.9 yards. For example, outside on a 4'x6' target, while in scan mode, at about a foot less than 20 yards it reads 19.9 and stays that way as I ease slowly backwards until a couple of feet after 20 yards and then it jumps to 20.7. Likewise, in my house ranging a wall, the read out jumps from 9.9 to 10.7 to 11.5 while slowly inching backwards in scan mode. Right on Sig Sauer's website, the spec sheet says "Range accuracy under 100 yards: 0.1 yards". When I talked to Sig Sauer, the customer rep stated that the long range models where not really designed for close ranging. When I asked why they advertised this models spec as 0.1 below a 100 yards if it didn't do it, he danced around the subject. So anyway, I am sending it to Sig Sauer to have it checked out, but based on what the customer rep was saying, the close range performance of this model seems to be hit or miss. For those who own one, if you run the same scenario as above, how does yours perform? Thanks.

I have one have not really paid that much attention to the tenth's of a yard. If it's 20 yards or under my confidence is very high, whole yards are really what I look at, if it's 25.?? I shoot 25. If it says 26 not much difference in hold. Until it says 30 , then I barley have to hold high, with my single pin set for 25. If I have time to change the yardage I do it at, 20, 30, 40, 50 and so on. I could not emagine having your sight set for .10 of a yard.

Ya mine ranges to the tenth of a yard. I bought mine after archery season so I haven't had much of a chance to use it on close range stuff but i'm thinking it'll work just fine.
