Molded grip caliper release companies?
I had no idea what a "molded grip" caliper release was. So I googled it and found the scott release. Upon seeing the picture, your question made sense. I can't see many people wanting a release like that. It's clear that it tries bridge the gap between wrist strap and thumb button, but inadvertently combines the worst of both worlds. I'm not saying you shouldn't shoot it if it works for you, but most people will go either wrist strap or thumb button, so making releases like this is not profitable.
