Hello guys. I have the Decut Basha Pro, and I have to say that I found no rough spots, fit and finish is superb, and at a very low price.
One gripe I have is that there is no manual for this riser.
So I have a few questions, and maybe some owners, or knowledgeable people here, could answer them.
First of all, is there a manual for this riser? Secondly, the tiller bolts have about 7 and 7.5 turns from all in to all out, with the bottom one having about half a turn more of adjustment. Is that normal?
And my last question, how many turns would be safe to turn the tiller bolts from all the way in? I cannot find any info on this riser.
Thanks a lot!

I have 2 of these risers, and I would say keep it at least 5 threads in for minimum preload. That's what I use and I shoot mine at 47lbs. The threads are very coarse, so 2 to 2.5 threads still gives you a pretty good range of weight adjustment. There are no manuals that I've found, but everything else is pretty much the same as a Hoyt GMX, so just look up the manual for that.

Hi, I'm new to this website, but I was wondering from your experience with the decut basha pro riser, what (affordable) limbs do you recommend? I've seen it paired with the daylite ones and I can't seem to get hardly any info on the brand to see if theyre good quality or not, but I'm also looking to purchase limbs seperately that are around $100-150, new or used, and preferably 66" 20-25lbs.
Thanks!!

I'm not familiar with 'Daylite.'

Decut is ILF so there are a lot of limbs available in your price range. Brands to have a look at (in no particular order) would be Mybo, Sanlida, Kinetic, WNS, Samick, and Core. I've seen entry level limbs from these brands come through the club and they have all been durable and performed well enough. You should also consider Lancaster's Galaxy brand limbs. They have the advantage of LAS' great service and return policy.

For an entry level limb I would base the decision on:
  • What is easily available in your area and therefore would be easily serviced if an issue did arise
  • Do you think it looks good. Archery limbs can have surprisingly ridiculous color schemes and phrases written on them...
