Curious as to who has tried the bomar draw stops on the ZT cams. Do the firm the back wall much? I've never tried them and being a hinge shooter, thought I might give them a try. Anyone with experience with them on the new bows, let me know your thoughts.

Thanks

I bought a Bowmar draw stop for my 2015 Nitrum Turbo, and was very pleased with the effect that it had. Back wall is now a brick wall, and my hinges consistently release. I highly recommend it. I was actually looking at the Bowmar Draw stop kit for my Double XL, but haven't pulled the trigger.

I've got em on a 18 rx-1 turbo. I'm not a hinge shooter, but they really firmed up the wall and made it rock solid. I put them on all my bows.
Thanks, looks like I will have to put an order in for them.

Do you guys feel like you lose any valley with these? I just went ahead and ordered a set through Lancaster's, so I guess I will see.
Thanks for all the replies everyone.

Not at all. A draw board is almost a must have to set them correctly though. You can get away with not tightening the screw and slowly drawing the bow. The stops will lay flat on their own that way, let down slowly and mark the stops with a pencil on the cam then snug down the screw. A draw board makes it so much easier though.
Also install a super thin piece of felt on the stop and they are dead silent. Otherwise you’ll hear an ever so slight “click” when the stops hit the cables.

Yeah I was planning on setting them on my dashboard, figured it would be the best way.
Great idea on the felt, thanks.

You might lose a tiny bit of valley with them, but I like that because it prevents me from being lazy and letting my form break down. It ensures I pull through the shot everytime.

I have em on my Pro Defiant. Followed the Lancaster archery video and I didn't have any problems. I've moved them multiple times fooling with draw length. I also adjusted my draw weight twice and had a tech double check timing for me and the stops were perfect. I doesn't hurt to check them on a draw board but it's not required.

I put them on my Prevail because I have the X3 cams but want a firm back wall. Works like a charm. Like folks said, it's almost like a limb stop feel. I moved from a PSE Supra with the limb stop and liked that feel so this made it easier to transition.

I have them on both my Rx1 and my Rx1 ultra. I normally order them the day I have a bow on the way. I've been shooting with bomar stops on all my hoyts for the last 3-4 years and wouldn't go back.
