One of the archers in my club just got the Fivics Titan EX riser and noticed that her Hoyt limbs don't really fit completely into the limb pocket. The ILF clicker button is definitely secured in the groove, but the dove tail part of the limb is kind of just barely on the tiller bolt's shaft; the sides of the limbs are flush with the side of riser's limb pocket. This is (maybe?) sort of expected as Fivics is a Korean company and Korean limbs tend to be skinnier, but will this fit cause problem in the long run (e.g. extra wear on the dove tail because it the tiller isn't in the deepest part of it)? Note that shaving down the limb to fit better isn't an option at this time.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

You seem to be describing several different effects. Maybe a picture would help?

What I got from this is that:
  1. The ILF spring detent is sitting correctly in it's groove
  2. The rounded slot in the limb is not touching the tiller bolt (It shouldn't, not dead-on anyways)
  3. The limb is too wide for the riser pocket, i.e. the limb sides are rubbing against the riser pocket

Does that correctly describe what you're seeing or am I missing something?

What you have described is correct; I will try to get some pictures up shortly.
Okay. #1 and #2 sound fine, provided what you described is true. The dovetail (metal fitting in the limb) is the thing that decides the position of the limb vertically/up-down. The rounded slot in the limb just controls the left/right. I.e. the limb should not be touching the tiller bolt except on the sides. I can put pictures if this is not clear.

Not much you can do about #3 I suppose without getting a different set of limbs if you don't want to file.

The riser fits KAP and WNS limbs just fine, so it hink this may be specific to Hoyt; possibly even just the Quattros since some of Hoyt's other lines have purportedly skinnier profiles. Here are some pictures of the Quattros in the pocket.

The guy from Archery Supplies in Australia has a vlog series on new products and he ran into this problem with the Fivics Vellator riser. Here's the link, go to the 9 minute mark. He tried various limbs from a few different companies - some fit fine while others didn't. In fact some of Fivics own limbs didn't fit their riser. I've personally had trouble with Hoyt limbs fitting my W&W riser and chalked it up to a Hoyt vs W&W compatibility issue. But, it seems to be more widespread than that.

I can say that on the titan x2, I had no issues with Hoyt 720

I believe that it is an issue where there are differences in ILF compatibility between American manufacturers(Hoyt) and manufacturers from Asia(Fivics, W&W, MK). I have seen combinations like W&W/MK and Fivics/W&W that have worked, and quite well at that.
And yes, the OP statement is also correct :humble::humble:

I had a hard time to fit in my MK Veracity limbs with a Fivics Platina riser. However, they eventually fit and now they were perfect to put in and out. I think the Fivics dovetail piece machined tightly and perhaps with sharp corners that catches the limbs bolts.

I unscrewed the riser bolts and put in the limbs with a touch of BreakFree gun oil. Repeat a few time of installation, they worked. Luck me.
