Ramrod and I have discussed using the Excalibur Assassin fail safe strap on the ravin crank handle. I have not tried it yet but I think it should work. I know I have heard of a lot of handles slipping out of guys hands and fingers/hands getting hurt, and or damage to the bow ...Has anyone tried this ? What’s everyone’s opinion ?

Yes there have been quite a few . If you’re careful it won’t happen but sh*t happens

Check out some Ravin Facebook pages there are several incidents on there . I would say 90 percent or more are user error

Of course it is user error, I just stated what we have seen in all of them that we sold. Before the customer leaves we make sure they understand everything about the operation of the bow.

The key to decocking Ravins.
Use your thumb in gap between metal and the rubbery round thingy.
Don’t grab round thing with your fingers only and try to hold while decocking.
Your thumb is strongest digit.
So thumb in there and extend fingers to the round disc thingy.
Try this I think you also like.

lots of user errors on face book..custom string install with riser blown apart. A few other obvious one as well. Need to be reading instruction manual and play on face book less....................:laugh:
