Planning to make a trip to the reform area mid October to hunt. Can anyone help me with where the closest camping area is and how far? Thanks
If it’s rabbit season then yes. I used my dog up there on the dove fields on Sept 1st. I’m sure if there’s a season in which you can hunt with a dog, then dogs will be used.Yeah I expect a crowd. Just going to do my best to not bother anybody and if I tag one cool, if not a bad day hunting beats a good day at work. Will enjoy being in the wood/new terrain either way. You can run dog on it during deer season?
Just to clarify, you cannot use dogs to hunt deer. You can use them on the property for rabbits, quail and doves. FYI - they planted a good sized field of sunflowers at Reform this year across the road from the power plant. If it’s rabbit season then yes. I used my dog up there on the dove fields on Sept 1st. That’s correct. Unfortunately I won’t be doing any dove hunting this year due to an injury. Reform is usually packed opening weekend. Birds fly through a gauntlet of shot.Just to clarify, you cannot use dogs to hunt deer. You can use them on the property for rabbits, quail and doves.
