I agree some of these responses I read are so very different from what I believe hunting is and should be. The meat eater crew and a few others do a good job but for the most part it’s sad the average non hunter watches something like Tim wells and believes that’s what hunting is.
You may want to investigate "Eater" a little before you get behind him. Last season he said he was taking a non hunting friend out hunting with him to expose him to the hunting world, and that friend turned out to be Joe Rogan, who has been in the hunting world longer than "Eater" and has a ton of videos on Youtube. So believe nothing you hear from these guys and only half what you see. It is ALL production television, and better yet, "Outdoor Infomercials".

Um, Rogan has been hunting on the Meateater show for years. It is how he was introduced to hunting, but it wasn't last year. Guessing you were watching re-runs.
That said, The Meateater show is built upon stroking the holier than thou ego that became prevalent after internet forums become popular. This thread is a fine example, the same person that criticizes Tim Wells is the same type of person that Meateater was designed to attract. A holier than thou ahole that tries to find fault in others. Its also worth nothing the Meateater is owned by a raving anti-gun nut.

Big fan of Rogan Steve introduced him to hunting. Rogan does a ton to bring hunting to the non hunter. I’m a big fan of meat eater if you find fault in them you will find fault in anyone

I have nothing against any of them. They are just guys doing a job, hunting. Making money selling their sponsors products, that ceases their hunting for pay ceases. And let's be honest about them, they represent real hunting like soap operas represent real life.

you don’t think Rinella hunts for real? Define real hunting

I thought Rogan was hunting with THE Cam Hanes before Rinella. Not that it matters I guess, but IIRC he was.

Can't call either a friend, but have met Steve and spent a little time with him and have some close friends who have done the same with Tim; there is a significant difference between the two....Tim does what sells......What Steve does sells....and YES that difference is PROFOUND!

Not that it matters - But you're watching re-runs or something. Rinella took Rogan on his first hunt nearly ten years ago.

Jim,

How much merchandise did he buy from you or agree to endorse?? Your support of that tool bag is disappointing. I have to believe it is financially based or an agreement that you made with him. Sad.

I have never given him a thing. If he has any of our products he didn't get them from me. It's sad that people can't have a different opinion without someone wanting to make some bs accusation up. Really surprises me to hear this from you. :(

He's a scum hunter in my opinion. I can't stand the shots he takes many times and has zero respect for the animal. This spreads throughout the sport because many want to be like him and win at all cost and see him as a trailblazer and hero. He may be a great guy in real life but I can't stand what he represents to the sport.

My sentiments, exactly.
Same as Bowmar...
Scum hunters.

You're right, but I just don't like the ammo he gives anti-hunters. My comment was inappropriate. I apologize.
