I have more problems with spypoint cameras than ANY other product i have ever bought since i started buying stuff say.....mmmm.....40 years ago.
Thier customer service is the absolute WORST EVER.
The advice of smashing above isnt sarcastic.
CS will tell you to reformat your sd card and load their latest software. If that doesnt work they will tell you to get a new sd card. After going round and round with them for weeks on end and you beg for an RMA, they will tell you to fill out a form stating everything you did in detail.....and thats when you will decide to smash it with a concrete block. I have a brand new one that is useless and another that stopped sending pics that is 2 years old

Had this happen. Try turning the camera off and on. Try logging out of the app then logging back in. ^This is if you haven't reached your photo limit. Also check battery life. Mine will stop sending sometimes if it gets below 20%

Isn't the SpyPoint 4g based? I read somewhere on here a year ago that an AT member actually contacted SpyPoint and got a response back saying that as networks begin integrating over to 5g that the cameras were NOT going to work anymore. Maybe someone can clarify. That's the reason i never bought one. Plus no cell coverage where i hunt.

2g/3g was shutdown awhile ago. 4G LTE is not going away anytime soon.

I put a fully charged 12 battery with the dollar panel on it Sunday and it was dead within 4 days I returned the card last night and it took pictures but never sent any and I have 25 days left on my plan

This has happened to me twice and yes the customer service will make you babble like Joe Biden. One time I deleted the camera from the system and then reactivated it. That worked on that camera. Annoying thing about that is you can't delete the camera until the purchased plan expires. On the other occasion nothing worked and they replaced it with an LTE camera. The LTE Micros work a lot better than their predecessor.

Yes, heres how I fixed it.

Remove from tree, lay it on the concrete. Jump up and down on it until its on 10 or more pieces. Discard pieces. Purchase a different brand.
I hear that is what some do with the Reveal, :D 3,100 post on "why is my camera not working' if it was not for Big Ten helping everyone it would have a name worse then any camera ever built, including WGI

Beats me, I run a few Spartans now and Im very pleased. Two of them were a bit of a chore to get activated due to a weird SIM confusion when scanning the bar codes.... but once up and running they appear to be flawless.

I had 3 at the start of last year, and at some point during the season they all stopped working correctly.

I agree with the method above.

Update, I fixed mine this morning. Turned it off, formatted the card, back on, everything working great again. Not sure if formatting the card made a difference but maybe. Only 3GB out of 32 were used but there were a bunch of folders.

Hope it stays fixed because I like the camera. I have the Link Micro S LTE with Verizon. I’m 6.5 hrs away (short drive in Texas) so I need hands off.Built in solar and LTE is what I need. Pics aren’t the best but good enough for me. Put out a brand new camera today too with a new feeder I’m putting out.

If your 6hrs away and using it on a feeder...

Get a spartan Ghost, the Herd360 metal braided chew proof power cable. A plastic group 24 marine battery box, a group 24 - 12v deep cycle marine battery.... charge the deep cycle battery once a year...

Your welcome.

I’m in the minority when it comes to Spypoint. I’ve had pretty good luck out of them and the only two I’ve had issues with they replaced after about a 5 minute text chat. Keep the firmware updated, use lithium batteries, and quality class10 cards and you should be good to go. At least that’s been my experience. Full disclosure I’ve been using 6 cameras for about a year and have had two issues. Issue 1, camera wouldn’t take firmware update. They sent me a new one. Issue 2 was a solar model and I think it got flooded and fried it. They sent me a new one. I’ve added a couple in the last 2 months and they are working great also. My batteries are lasting about 6 months while taking approx 2000 pics.
