He didn’t look like that in the 70s.

I wonder if he shot it with one his 48” Hoyts. I wonder if he’s still shooting without a release…
Still shooting fingers he says and its a custom hoyt 75 pounds 50% let off 600 grain easton aluminum arrow

Chuck was one of my hero's growing up. Saved up in high school just to buy his Hoyt "Super Slam" bow. Got to meet him at the bowhunters supershow in Colombus. Talked with me for 10 minutes, signed my old books. Good dude. Him and Eichler hosted a "super slam" seminar there, it was great.

One of the Greats! And the main reason I started bowhunting in the early 80’s. No internet then. All his magazine articles sparked the fire. Still shoot Superslams to this day. Met him and his wife many times. Great people.

When I first got into bow hunting I bought some of his books and followed his advice. I believe he has over 200 animals in P&Y and I think most of his hunting is by stalking. Incredible! I really hope to meet him someday and get him to sign all of his books that I own. I even have his waterfowling book.

Always been a big fan of his going back to when I was a kid obsessively reading every magazine and book I could find relating to hunting and archery.

It also really says something to me that we are now over 30 posts on this thread and not one negative comment about him. Imagine a thread about essentially anyone else in the hunting/archery community and nobody coming out to say somethin bad about them. That really speaks to his character and the way he has conducted himself and treated people over the years.

What the hell is his actual Instagram? I saw this posted by Pope & Young and thought I was following Chuck, but turns out I couldn't find his profile.

Guess what ? Looks like he changed up his IG ? I bet the soy boys and attacks were too much for him.

This is what I came up with now, and I was NOT following this one before today ? So that tells me he went blank after the couple kills and stories about his wife and mother in law encouraging him to bow hunt inspite of her illness.

He had a hunt where he was off the grid and sending word back for his updates. It was pretty awesome.

So when I searched I came up with a misspelled name of him and I am not sure this is really him. chuckadam.sarchery

I figured something had happened because I know I was following him. The one you found is the only other one I found and wondered if that was actually him or not?

Instagram has so many idiots chiming in on hunt photos. Saw one girl telling a hunter they don't deserve to live on their kill photo. Went to that person's profile and it was filled with photos of bbq and meat...

He shut down his Instagram account after it was hacked. He posted about it on his Facebook page.

I’m a Trump fan. Does anybody have any idea the amount of times Facebook has banned me ? Every month. You can’t win and I gave up trying. They simply want Trump people out of their platform.

Therefore I missed Chucks update. Someone needs to explain to him the need to super code his password with intricate upper/lower case and numbers and symbols.

Cam Hanes gets like 2-3 frauds a day it seems trying to steal money.

Yep the super show in Columbus was great all except for the attendance. Was a damn shame because it could have been really an awesome show.

Guys used to call him "Smilin' Chuck" because of the big grin on his face with his hero pix. After seeing a bunch of photos where guys with nice bow killed animals look like they just came from a colonoscopy.....I appreciate his genuine enthusiasm after all these years. Without a doubt he works very hard and has earned the admiration and fame that many bestow upon him. Congrats, sir on another great animal in the books.

Hearing his name always brings back great memories to my early bowhunting career. I remember getting my first dozen XX78 superslam arrows with his pic on it. The man always was and always will be is a true asset to our sport. Congrats Chuck, it's good to see you still getting it done.
