Does what it’s supposed to imo. Eliminates need for a range finder if you want. But I never shoot past 40. Quick target acquisition. Target not blocked out by pins. Built like a tank. Great customer service. 30 day money back guarantee. But like most things in archery, it isn’t for everyone. You really have to try it and see if you like it. There are lots of YouTube videos and they have a fb group page.

Thanks for the info. I’m really considering trying one out. The concept seems to make sense to me. I like how the sight window is open and you get rid of the range finder. Seems ideal for bow hunting. Thanks for the reply.

5 or 6 years with one. Dislike I can't shoot with both eyes open. I shoot everything else with both eyes open including my target bow.
When you make an elevation adjustment you have to square up the sight housing it it's a big elevation adjustment.
You're not going to get 100 yards out of the sight might be a negative to some
People way overthink the use of this sight. It is simple sight that is tuff and rugged as hell. It will put the arrow in the kill zone fast. You can use it as pin sight if you choose.
Very relaxed shooting.
Very easy for me to pick up on the use. If you trust it. I trusted it. I was killing turkey 3rd time I used the sight.
My long-distance shooting improved greatly.
I got rid of my peep sight.
I can use it as a range finder sight like it was designed
I can also use it as a pin sight.
Lots of great sights out there but I will not use another sight for hunting. I flat out get the job done and takes a beating while doing it.

If you have Facebook there is a EZV sight group that answer any question you could possibly have and then some.

I haven’t hunted with it yet but I have been loving it so far. I like it so much that I’m selling my laser rangefinder sight that I bought right before trying it. As others have said, there is a bit of a learning curve just because it’s different than pin sights. I actually find it easier to shoot with both eyes open with the EZ V than pin sights for some reason. It seems incredibly rugged. The sight picture is amazing. I only focus on where I want the arrow to land

Worked well for me out to 40 yards practicing on life size 3d targets. Beyond that accuracy wasn't great. I like practicing longer distances so I went back to pins. Only animal I shot with the EZV was a turkey.

I'd put one on a dedicated hunting bow for tree stand or ground blind if I knew my shots were all under 40.

I never used it to hunt but I shot 3D with it as a trial back when they first came out. If you had a deer target standing perfectly broadside it worked well. Any other target or any other angle was problematic at best.

I'll also add that you really need to have access to a life size 3D target of the animals you'll be hunting so that you can practice with it if you want to be very proficient with it.

I tried it 2 years ago and liked it, but it was hit or miss. I sighted in to 30 in 12 arrows, fastest I have ever got to 30 with any sight/bow combo.

But, one day I couldn't miss with it. Other days I was all over the place. It seemed like about 2 out of 3 times it was good, but when I was off it was real bad. I just couldn't hunt with it after that, I didn't trust it enough to risk shooting at an animal so I sold it.

Anyone with hunting experience use one of these sights to hunt with? What did you like/dislike? Any other sight I should consider instead?
Have used one for couple years now. Have killed multiple deer from 15yds to 40yds, turkey at 30yds and coyote at about 12yds and couple hogs as well. I now have my 15year old using one and he loves it as well. Its simple and works fantastic for hunting. I dropped my peep this year and that makes me love it even more. I have shot out to 60yds and do well with it on a target. I shoot both eyes open with it and have zero issue doing so but I have always shot both eyes open. Not to mention the customer service from Aaron is fantastic as well. If you have any questions reach out and he will help any way he can.

I switched to the EZ last year because pins were blurring out my field of view. Practiced a lot and a 3D target helped with the how to use the sight at different angles. I took two deer, both over 40 yards, both heart shots, and neither went more than 50 yards. One quartering to and one quartering hard away. Never even took out my range finder. It’s a very instinctive hunting sight can’t ever see myself going back to pins. For me the secret to success with this sight is focusing on where you want the arrow to go, don’t worry so much about it being centered between the v. Once you do that and let the instincts take over the arrow just goes right where you want it to. I’ve noticed sometimes I’ll subconsciously “push” my bow at release and it drives the arrow right where I’m focusing. The times I miss my spot it’s because I didn’t focus on my aiming point through the shot.
