No, I understand what you mean about not needing a press to adjust the rest. I was more emplying pull cable issues.If you are looking for a drop away, I would say the Hameska rest. You do not need a bow press to adjust an arrow rest.
I haven't seen any type of arrow rest where the bow had to be in a bow press to adjust.
If a drop rest then any of the limb driver types. I have Vapor Trail Limb Drivers on my bows (4 altogether) - no timing issues, no bow press needed. I also have a Hamskea - down side the spring or rubber dampener must be stretched to factory specs. I've had nothing but trouble with my Hamskea.
