Hey all,

Happy New Year. I am looking to replace the belts on my sit and climb. I tried lone wolf on google and couldn't come up with anything. I know the company has traded hands and now there is XOP and LWCG, but was not sure what direction to go in. Thanks in advance.

It's up in the air right now. LW is now Novix and I guess the old owner is making LW stands again........but either way we are up S*&^ creek at least for now.

Seems like that will have to change in time......way too many people out there that like their stands and will need belts.

Thanks all. I love the stand. I put a flip top seat kit on it a couple years ago which made it a perfect climber for me. The belts are at least 12 years old. They don’t show any wear but I definitely don’t want to find out the hard way. I always wear a harness but it definitely wouldn’t be fun. I’ll be pretty bummed if they stop making them.

I still think they pop up soon because again there are too many happy customers out there that will need them and NOT want to just buy a new stand....the void will be filled. Look at the bright side if you live in certain areas of the US the belts rot away in 3 years! ☹ At least you are like us and get 10+ easy.

Anyone come up with any belts?
Nope, lwcg is spending plenty of time doing run and gun roadshows, but can't release the belts.

If I don't have replacement belts before September I'll be moving on from everything lone wolf related. Horribly handled across the board.

My belts have been on for about 18 years. I think the replacement thing just comes from a liability stand point so they didn’t get sued. I don’t see them ever wearing out. I wear a harness also so I’m rocking them till they don’t.

Same here. I’ve used mine for 20 years. Look and feel perfect. As a precaution my safety harness is on from the moment I’m on the tree to the time I’m off. I’m 54 and for the first time last year I fell out of the stand. Only because I lost my balance. Safety harness saved my life.

Glad you were Ok.....but man, that is scary stuff. Any time I use my Cougar Claw climber, I am hooked up from the moment I step from the ground to the platform about 2' off the turf. Be careful out there and keep an eye on that balance issue......some folks deal with vertigo and it is best to stay on the ground while dealing with it.

Just wanted to give some of you a heads up. I emailed the company and got this response: Thank you for your email. I apologize for the delayed response. So, Lone Wolf and LWCG are two completely different companies. Andrae created Lone Wolf back in 1984 and in 2006 he sold the company to Oak Leaf Outdoors but kept the rights to the Lone Wolf name. He was licensing the name to Oak Leaf Outdoors. In 2019 when Andrae created Lone Wolf Custom Gear, Oak Leaf outdoors broke their agreement and in 2022 Andrae stopped licensing the name to them. They then decided to create a new treestand company, therefore Lone Wolf products such as the Alpha, Assault, climbers are no longer made. Lone Wolf Custom gear makes 4 D'Acquisto Series stands. We have the .5,.75,1.0, and 2.0. We also have two different saddle platforms, sticks, and accessories. Our stands can be customized and have new technology and ingenuity. Our products are made in Michigan and assembled in Iowa. We are not sold in stores or dealers at this time. But you check the products out at all of the Mobile Hunting Roadshows! *We do not make a climber at this time but will be coming out with one at the end of this year or beginning of next. Our belts will be universal and compatible with other stands. Please make sure you are signed up for the newsletter to be kept up to date. Thank you! -The LWCG Team” I wrote back “ Hello, So, in the mean time you have many hunters unable to use the stands they love. Many, from what I have been reading on outdoor forums, are giving up on lone wolf all together and going towards other companies. You have faithful costumers but we do not feel you are being faithful to us. How many more hunting season will we have to do without our favorite stand that we paid good money for?
