I am very interested in the new elite omnia, and would like to handle/shoot one before buying; but can't seem to find a dealer within reasonable driving distance. First off the way the find a dealer thing on Elite's website is set up doesn't seem to work very well for me at least. The couple of "dealers" that I was able to find on there have either been nonresponsive or said they are not an Elite dealer.
So main question is does anybody know of an Elite that's within reasonable driving distance of the very western tip of Virginia where it meets Kentucky and Tennessee(Lee County VA if that helps)?
Second question is there a date for the omnia to be " on the shelf" yet. I know some dealer may vary, but just want a general idea of when they may be available?

Initially I too was interested in seeing the new Omnia in person but live in an area that doesn’t have a dealer within at least an hour or hour and a half that I am aware of and haven’t seen a new Elite in the last several years. Elite’s “Find a dealer” option doesn’t work for me either so I emailed and called them and was basically told that it worked on their end so there’s not a problem…

Fast forward… I’ve now lost interest and an going to continue shooting my old bows and spend the money I was going to spend on a new bow towards something else…

They must be so successful that they don't need the business! When a customer asks for help & you blow the off, move on as couldn't see there customer service be any better!

This is exactly why the one "local" to me dealer dropped them 2 years ago. Indifference to a dealer does not inspire confidence to the consumer. The sad part was my dealers personal bow at the time was an Elite. But no longer is. They make a solid product but not worth going out of my way to go try if they feel the same way towards service.

I would definitely shoot before you buy. The speed is there with aggressive module but it’s stiff and has all the characteristics all speed bows have. So you probably want to shoot it! It holds really good with ok back wall

Customer service is why we are no longer stocking Elites. Heck, they never even contacted us about the new bows coming out. We found out like everyone else.

You mean…speed isn’t free? JustRick made it sound like it draws the same as every other bow it’s just way faster. How can this be?

Really?

They have a limb stop or cable stop option. It has a great valley that is adjustable to whatever you want. A smooth mod option that only costs you 7fps. It's not even a bad draw with the speed mods imo unless you are overbowed.

What are the characteristics it has that "all speed bows have" besides a stiffer draw with speed mods?

This is what I've noticed...

Guys that have an open mind and will shoot any brand if they like that bow best have all been impressed with the Omnia.

The guys that are brain washed and will only shoot one brand will find a reason not to like it. They probably haven't even shot it or if they have, they weren't going to buy it anyways.

I'm not saying it's the bow for everyone. I just wanted to point that out.

Shot one and bought one yesterday.

It is stiff but no major hump and dump even at my 30" draw. Comparing it to my realm x it is a much better draw the realmx in performance but of course it's no where near it comfort but I'm guessing it will be almost 20 fps faster. Haven't shot it through the Chrono yet.

Hard to explain how dead it is. It's like it goes off and then nothing.

Johns custom archery is 4 hours and 45 minutes east of me according to Google maps(that's 1 way).
Coopers trading post is over 2 hours 1 way. Still pretty far to drive just to handle/shoot a bow.
Thanks for the options, but I'd really like to find something a little closer if at all possible
