I live in west MI and used their dealer finder option on my laptop to find several reasonable options when looking to have a part ordered for my Elite Ritual 35. However a year ago I was hoping to test out an Athens Vista 35 and the closest dealer was in northern Indiana......well over 100 miles from my home. So I get what you are saying OP. Whether that is an issue with the bow maker or their dealer network, the sum is still the same......difficult to access means a loss of opportunity. Although I shoot Elite bows, I didn't buy them from a local dealer/shop and understand that Mathews, Hoyt, PSE and Bowtech gain customers from being readily available in most areas.

I am very interested in the new elite omnia, and would like to handle/shoot one before buying; but can't seem to find a dealer within reasonable driving distance. First off the way the find a dealer thing on Elite's website is set up doesn't seem to work very well for me at least. The couple of "dealers" that I was able to find on there have either been nonresponsive or said they are not an Elite dealer.
So main question is does anybody know of an Elite that's within reasonable driving distance of the very western tip of Virginia where it meets Kentucky and Tennessee(Lee County VA if that helps)?
Second question is there a date for the omnia to be " on the shelf" yet. I know some dealer may vary, but just want a general idea of when they may be available?
If you're in the lower end of Lee County then you may want to contact Jerome Barrier with Appalachian Archery on Facebook. He is in the Somerset KY area. The dealer in Norton is no longer a dealer.

What dealer did you use in the west MI area? I also live in west MI and would like to shoot the omnia.

I contacted the Outdoorsman in Jenison for parts ordering and they were excellent. Not sure what they carry in stock in regards to bows. I would give them a call before making a drive. I believe the shop in Holland is also listed as an Elite dealer.

wstanley I'm pretty much right in the middle of the county (Jonesville zip is 24263) roughly an 1.5 hours pretty much straight west of Bristol TN if that help. The 1 you suggested is right at 3 hours (1way). And yes Colgards in Norton is no longer an Elite dealer with is sad since they are only about 1 hour away, and looks like the next closest is a little over 2 hours.

Guess it's looking like I'm stuck with mathews unless I want to drive at least 4 hours round trip to even get to lay hands on an Elite.
I am currently shooting an Elite option 6 that I bought used a few years ago, and I like it a lot. I talked about getting a new bow this past spring but didn't. I was really excited when I saw the new omnia and all the adjustability since I don't have a real press, but now I'm wondering if I would just be better of to wait till spring and by a mathews from this year so I can get it cheaper and wait on the omnia for another year and do the same thing and just order 1 online and take a chance on liking it when I can at least get it cheaper.
If anyone has shot the omnia and an option 6 please let me know how they compare.

Scpowerman thanks for the advice, but there is actually 2 bow shops in the county and even more that are closer then the 2 hours. The problem is the 2 in the county (less then 30 minutes)only sale mathews bows(1 is a mathews dealer, and 1 is not a technically a mathews dealer but sales mathews bows) and all the ones in the are seem to have mostly mathews and no one seems to have elites.
Also what I meant by I don't have a real press is I have a bow master portable bow press that I can use when needed. It's just not as easy and I'm not as comfortable using it as a real press. I don't currently have room for a real press or I would have 1. I just liked the fact that you could do so much adjusting on the new omnia without having to have a press.
Like I said I appreciate your advice I'm just explaining why I am currently looking for a less press dependant bow.

This is what I've noticed...

Guys that have an open mind and will shoot any brand if they like that bow best have all been impressed with the Omnia.

The guys that are brain washed and will only shoot one brand will find a reason not to like it. They probably haven't even shot it or if they have, they weren't going to buy it anyways.

I'm not saying it's the bow for everyone. I just wanted to point that out.
I was going to buy whichever brand I liked the best based on my hunting style. I shot them all side by side, sorry in my opinion it's not the best bow with the speed mods. The comfort mods were awesome but it of course it was slower same arrow, same draw length. Now if you aren't concerned with speed and like adjustability, it's a great bow and maybe the one for you. Personally, I only tinker once a year so don't need all the screws and adjustability. I want quiet and to save as much weight as possible so for me I love the bridgelock stuff. Of course, you others can be the exact opposite so go shoot them all. It's for sure the best Elite bow they've made.

I've called a few dealers close by, well within 100 miles. Most were dealers, that they dropped.
One dealer I spoken to hasn't even seen his Elite rep.
Good luck!

That's what I have heard a lot of deer310sg. Hawgsalot speeds not the most important thing that I am looking for but since I'm shooting a 500+ gr arrow and have a relatively short DL(28" currently) in speed I can get out of the bow I'll take. And as far as adjustability goes I'm still fairly new to archery. I have been shooting for 8-10 years now but have only owned 2 bows so far and so as far as shooting I'm not super new but as far as actually working on bows I'm pretty new to it. And I don't like having to take my bow to the shop so anything I can do on my own without needing a press is a big plus. Honestly I'm not sure my draw length is %100 right, but it's not very easy to play around with DL on my current bow without buying multiple mods and multiple trips to the bow shop to swap them out and put in or take out twists in the string. That was 1 of the big featers I liked about the omnia.
