What’s everyone’s choice for prime bows? I have a trinity on my nexus 4. Anyone running a qad? Any issues with it if you are?
I’m debating on picking up a epsilon because I prefer the click adjustment on the micro adjust so I know exactly how far I move it when I move itWent to the Epsilon on my N4. Way more clearance. My Trinity was SUPER tight with the cables...
Are you shooting a stiff spine? I prefer cable driven but have been hearing guys are having problems getting rid of a nock low tear with cable driven rests and going with Hamskea. I just picked up a Inline 5 and want to use a QAD HDX or my AAE Prophecy.I'm running a QAD on an Inline 3 and a HHA Virtus on an Inline 1-both without issue.
I have both bows tuned with 400 spine Victory Rips at 27" with a 60 grain insert 125 grain head and 63# draw weight. Both have good tears through paper and at 20 yards with a bare shaft. I will be bumping up to a 350 spine after turkey season not because I have to, I just prefer a stiffer spine. Are you shooting a stiff spine? I do not think you will be disappointed. I'm sure not.I’m debating on picking up a epsilon because I prefer the click adjustment on the micro adjust so I know exactly how far I move it when I move it
For others as well: You could consider this bracket to run an integrated restI wish prime would get the dovetail mount so I could just run an integrated qad if I’m going to run a qad… I hate spending all the time to level my rest and fight with it moving constantly while I’m trying to tighten it
See I thought of that but you still have to mount the mount which has to be leveled and there’s really no difference at that point than mounting a standard restFor others as well: You could consider this bracket to run an integrated rest

You will need to measure your riser thickness at the Berger Hole to determine which adapter you need. The narrow...lancasterarchery.com
Are prime risers not square in the shelf area? I would assume you would just butt it up to the square riser and tighten it down and it would basically level itself: square side of riser against squared side of rest mount. 🤷🏻♂️See I thought of that but you still have to mount the mount which has to be leveled and there’s really no difference at that point than mounting a standard rest
They are...and you can. Do it all the time with Hamskea Epsilons. Are prime risers not square in the shelf area? I would assume you would just butt it up to the square riser and tighten it down and it would basically level itself: square side of riser against squared side of rest mount. 🤷🏻♂️
Thanks for clarifying that! I haven’t actually seen that QAD bracket in person but I would assume it’s square as well and probably what I would run. Good chance I’ll end up with a Revex! They are...and you can. Do it all the time with Hamskea Epsilons.
