Just curious what mechanical broadheads people are using today...considering the DeadMeat V2s but want to try something else as well in the 100 grain class. Im only hunting axis and spanish goaties so nothing too extreme. I need something that flies well (not concerned about sound) in stiff wind.

relatively decent POI as your field points?
There are a lot of really good mechanicals. The biggest factor is using any mechanical is to make sure you are using enough KE to be ethical and effective. Sevr are very good heads. I have never used them, but my friend does and he loves them. I have used Wasp Jak Hammers, NAP Spitfires/Shockwaves, Grim Reapers and two blade Swhackers. All have worked great. Using a mechanical head does not mean you can shoot a bow that is out of tune. You still have to get your bow tuned to shoot broadheads.

NAP killzones, spitfires, and after tomorrow I'll be able to tell you how I feel about the Sevr heads. At least will put one in a target.

There are a lot of great mechanical broad heads. I started using Grim Reaper Razor Tips 100gn,in 2001. My first kill was P&Y black bear. Since then I taken Wart Hog, blue wildebeest, elk, turkey and around 100 deer. I’ve never had a head failure so no reason for me to change.😉
Swats are pretty darned good also.

In my humble opinion... Deadmeats and Sevrs are the 2 best options, so you can't go wrong.
