I have an Epsilon and really like it. It is simple. If you want to get into torque tuning, the Prophecy seems like the better option from my understanding.

Limb driven, like the Epsilon, allow you to exactly time the rest to your liking and are also less complex.

I have a Hamskea on my primary bow and a QAD (similar to the AAE in concept) on my backup bow. The only reason I don't remove the QAD is because I don't want to spend more money on my backup bow.

best limb driven and best cable driven imho that you are discussing. dipends which style you want. if you want to torque tune prophecy. want a more sleaker attachment without the ability to torque tune the rest (can still use your dovetail sight) then hamskea.

One note on the prophecy is that you have to lock it in the upright position. This threw me through a loop when I first got one.
In a different way than a QAD? A QAD is clicked into the up position also. You could not click it up and draw the bow and it would work so long as the arrow was inside the forks.

I've had both and prefer the prophecy. While the Prophecy looks like a QAD it functions in a totally different way. On this rest, the cable attachment only functions to raise an internal brass hammer. When the bow is fired this hammer, being driven by spring tension, smacks into the sear which is holding the launcher arm in the up position. This is why you have to pre-cock the prophecy versus having the rest raise up as you draw the bow.

For me the prophecy was a better solution because I wanted a full capture rest that had a more simplistic mechanism than a QAD. Both rest function very well but I just got tired of having the arrow flop around inside the capture cage on the epsilon. A side benefit that I found was that my Evo EVL 34 felt much better to shoot without having the cord attached to the lower limb. That's something that is very hard to quantify but it definitely changed the feel for me.

I’ve shot pretty much every rest out there cable and limb driven and imho the AAE Prophecy is the best I’ve used.

Hamskea all the way. There is nothing built better than the Hamskea line.

I saw an elkshape video yesterday where a guy from aae was putting a prophecy on the oompa loompa’s bow. I am I nterested.

Now I wish I hadn’t bought the QAD for the wife’s Prima - it should arrive any day now.

I think it depends on what you plan on use it for. The Epsilon is solid if you want a limb driven rest

If I was even considering another cable driven rest, the AAE Prophesy would be at the top of my list. I've shot Ripcords with good results......the QAD and HHA Virtus not as much. From there it has been all limb driven rests and the Hamskea is the top of the heap for me. While the Trinity and Epsilon are both really nice, I have not felt the need to move past my three HHP's......which have each been on multiple bows.
