I’ve got some of these and have killed 4 deer so far with them, and all died within 50 yards, but they were 4 perfect shots so that doesn’t say much. The bad part is I’ve had some type of broken blades or significant damage to 3 out of those 4, even without hitting heavy bone. So unfortunately my results kinda reflect what he is showing here. Still like them, just not the most durable head.

About what we've seen from all the GR he has put through his tests. The cups fail and they fall apart. What that means in the real world? That's open for debate I suppose. I've killed deer with them without it happening, maybe in bone it could? I do know that a lot of other mechanicals perform better in his tests and aren't treated like even a decent head on here. GRs fail miserablely and are still praised.

EXACTLY what I experienced as well. Everything I killed with them the broadhead was one and done.

Got to say that I don’t expect any broadhead to stand up well when you’re firing it into a concrete block.

Thin mechanical blades, multiple parts and pieces… How many shots on animals hitting bone or rocks or a pass through do people actually expect these things to last?

I don’t know… broadheads to me are a one and done proposition… Get a shot off and screw on a new one.

I have killed several deer with razor tip 1 3/8” . I blown through shoulders and buried them in the off shoulder. Never had any problems using them. The buck shot this I shot with a slight quarter to shot went through the front shoulder and out at the second to last rib with a complete pass through I also am a 1 done , I have an arrow rake made from a couple of deer hoofs mounted and all my kill arrows get hung the wall at camp.

I’m a fan of reapers.. have used the original 1 3/8, 1 3/4, whitetail special and pro 1 3/8. That being said; they’re not the most durable but have resulted in short track jobs. I’ve attached recent pro 1 3/8 that was used on a doe. I suspect the bent ferrule and blade was from the pass through into the ground .

Man! My second favorite mech shaded by Lusk! Guess I best go buy deepower n sever eh!?!
Na I don’t care. I shoot what I like at the time. I like others have skewered deer and taken a few elk with them. I have a few and will eventually send em. I like that they are assembled kinda locally. No failures for me!
WATCH EM DROP!

Gotta get those severs numbers up boys! Couple people posted bad results on severs. Don't ya find it funny let's retest a test we already did to see if the heads fail at the same sequence of the test. Watch next week we will retest a sever and be amazed how nothing happens to the sever cause the blades are closed and didn't get damaged.
