I made one from some instructions I found online. Basically framed out 3’x3’x14” with 2x3s. The sides sheathed in 3/8” particle board. Then used corrugated plastic sheet from Lowe’s with face and stuffed with scrap shrink wrap I got from my cousin who works at a warehouse. I mean it’s stuffed. Then wrap and staple with a big white tarp. Paint on a couple bullseye dots and it will stop anything with a field point

If you shot a lot I don't think there is anything out there that will last you more than a year. The Rinehart Block has come the closest for me, switching sides and not shooting any broad heads, it'll last me around a year. If you live in a cold place, you might not ever get your arrows back until it breaks in! I've wanted to try the sevr and matrix, just haven't yet.
Here is a challenge for you sir. If you can wear a quarter size hole in every spot front and back with a smooth field point, one that hasn’t been smashed and sharp, I will give you another set of skins free and we will pay the shipping. Products Detail

I too build Third Hand Archery Targets. A 4' x 4' in the yard and a 3' x 3' for the garage. I target practice with 3 Fletched FP's and 3 Bare shafts so I only shoot Fixed Blade BH's once and a while just prior to season. The bare shafts show you tune a form flaws. If you do use a foam target, fix it with great stuff foam under pressure.
Ches.

I like a hanging bag target for FT's and a foam target for BH's........so I made this. If I shoot a 3D deer it's never going to be sitting next to my target stand.........what's the point...........lol, I use that to get better at judging distance only so I move it all over the place for each shot.

The target setup for me as a hunter is really only a setup and tuning aid....once I've done all that I only go back to it once in a while to verify the setup. I feel I get a lot better practice shooting the 3D from elevated positions and unknown distances.

If I were a target shooter then I'd spend a lot more time on the targets.
