I'm planning on going an archery elk hunt. What broadheads have you had luck with? What type of arrows and setups work the best? Thank you.
A lot of unknowns here… are your shooting a compound or recurve… what is your draw weight… what is your ethical, realistic maximum shooting distance… I am guessing you are shooting a compound. With that being said, arrow flight needs to be good and that means a correctly spined arrow of sufficient finished arrow weight.I'm planning on going an archery elk hunt. The ones I have are the glue in’s. They are really sharp out of the package and have full confidence in them. Those Jekyll heads look slick
I recently ordered a pack of Hydes and an extra set of Jekyl blades and they were all dull. Most had a pronounced burr on the edges that I could feel and even see with the naked eye. I reached out to customer service, who were very responsive when I was asking questions before buying them, and haven't heard back yet (about 2 weeks ago). The ones I have are the glue in’s.
