I don't post much, more of a reader, anyway wanted to put this out because of really bad customer service. About a month ago I had a problem with a Spypoint cam after contacting Customer service with no resolution the rep became belligerent and hung up on me. This is where it seems ridiculous, after I wrote an email about the poor service my other 3 Spypoint cams are not working for an unknown reason, coincidence ? Just wanted to give a heads up if you're on the fence about purchasing one, I have 8 other Reveal cams that never have a problem.

Spypoint is the absolute worst. Started with their cell cams a few years ago and trashed them after a few months. Had the same experience with customer service

what was the problem or problems that they would not resolve for you?

My issue is some antler knocked my camera around and now I get pictures of deer legs, possums and raccoons along with mice at 4 feet..

They have a troubleshooting procedure for certain issues, and you didn't want to follow it because it didn't make sense to you. That's the way I'm understanding it?

Cell cams are notorious for requiring attention, it doesn't matter the brand.
It's what they do to make things right that matter to me.
That's why I don't use tactacam anymore. I had terrible c.s. from them when I had an issue with a new cam still under warranty.

If you want, I'll trade you 1 working reveal, for your 4 broken spypoints.

Sending a video of me inserting the card is a trouble shooting procedure? Please lets not get into the that. I followed all his instructions prior to that. I have nothing but trouble with their cams. My other concern besides his belligerence was after I wrote to their customer service now all my cams aren't working, seems like an inconvenient coincidence. But that's ok I'm done with their cams.

I'd be willing to bet the majority of costumer issues are indeed the costumer themselves.
I'm fairly certain they wanted to make sure it was the correct class of sd card, within the correct gb parameters, with the brands they recommend. Then the next step was to turn it on so they could see the pattern of the blinking lights.

My offer still stands just let me know.

I agree, as if you read the 367 pages of the Reveal thread, most are user issues

I bought the Spy Point links things you plug into an existing camera, they were on sale this winter for 15 bucks each.
Figured if they worked good if not , oh well.
so far they have worked good on eis in a 5 year old Browning BTC-5 and other is in a 12 year old BTC-3
the only issue is on the BTC-3 I think it is to old to handle the spy point SD card correctly
next time I am up thereI am changing cameras to a newer Browning I have

I have 13 of their cams. 2 evos, 9 micros and 3 LM2's. I had issues with a few of them when they were first released and last year got on the chat because one came would not check in correctly. I got on the chat and they ended up replacing the cam. When they first started and you had to call customer service it was horrible but with the chat you get things done. I'm also an Insiders Club member. The pic quality is not great but it was a no brainer paying $99 for 250pics a month for the year. I have 6 Tactacams and 2 Stealth cams. I didn't even activate the Tactacams this year. It would cost me $180 in activation for the season on the Tactacams.

You must've had a bad rep.

I'm like you, usually reading and not participating. I bought a used one from a guy and couldn't get it activated. I called into customer service and I had a good experience. They helped me get it activated even though I couldn't read all the numbers for the sim.

Sorry you had a bad experience but a company is not bad just because of one customer service rep.

It was little unnerving that he was so easily able to access the camera. It's not far-fetched to believe that your cameras aren't working for a reason.
