I’m getting a RX9 Ultra and am preparing to be in $4k on the full build. It will be my first build of this scale. Usually I buy a flagship but outfit it with cheaper accessories not the high end ones sold by the specific bow manufacturers.

I was going to buy another RYZ max but discontinued and limited supply. But on eBay it’s like $439 new. The replacement in the new line is like $20 more. Whooptie doo on price.
I never really thought I needed the first axis. Maybe I did and didn’t know it? Everything seemed fine. But I never got too overly technical on it because there wasn’t an adjustment. Nice to have if needed.
The ability to swap in everything on the same platform is really great for anyone wanting To change up. Maybe you bought something, but didn’t quite like it like you thought or maybe you want something different on a different hunt? Like in Wisconsin I like the vertical 2 pin like the original RYZ. But out west if I was young and healthy enough for elk I might want the 3-4 pin arrangement instead. Money saved by not having to buy a complete new sight.
Not that it matters, but the name of it I wonder how they came up with it and if it stands for anything special? To me they could have done better. Hard to remember. Nitron, Nextel, numbnuts,,,oh NYtrx that’s it. Dumb name imo. But doesn‘t matter really. I’ll think of it as Tetra 2

I see it as a move to help them streamline internally more than anything else. Smart move on their part.
The ability to change housings and indicators in a more modular fashion is how they should’ve been from the beginning.

Some people thought that too when wheels went from square to round..... 😅
Never had square wheels and if so the difference was a huge positive, which is not the case here.

Yeah. I think it is absolutely crazy for a bow and it's accessories to cost THAT much.
I know there are 'tech' advances on this stuff compared to 20 years ago... but the tech involved isn't THAT advanced to match that price point.

The changeable wheels for the NyTrx pro will not fit on the Tetra Ryz and they also will not fit on the non-pro version of the NyTrx.
I am still trying to figure out what's the difference between the Tetra RYZ and the NYTRX.
If any practical changes, does it justify the big price difference ?
Why did they Discontinue a superb scope line like the Tetra RYZ. I feel so happy i got my Tetra RYZ just in time...
