Breathability is the most overrated thing I hear about boots, in my experience, and I bet the breathability on these boots is nil. You can’t make it waterproof one way, and breathable enough the other way, for it to matter. It’s just a sales gimmick, and people will fall for it. Some people will convince themselves otherwise, just because they want to believe it.There is a scenario where they are worth the price. These are going to be more geared towards the eastern whitetail/turkey guy for hunting. If they do breathe enough to keep feet drier and in turn warmer on hike into the stand, while at the same time being durable enough to out last something like Alphaburly Pros by a couple of seasons they will justify their price. Time will tell.
Well sir, at least you are honest in your editorials. Bridgelock, anyone???400$ is not unreasonable for boots
400$ is unreasonable for these boots.
they wouldn’t build them if they weren’t sure they would sell, so people are going to buy it
I was going to say, like mathews accessories, but I have some of those so I’m leaving it out of my point
I’ve hunts in camo lined crocs. Very comfortable.I have a $69 pair of Tidewe boots (rubber bottom and neoprene top) that are as good as any higher priced rubber boot I've ever owned.
There is no possible way I would ever buy $400 rubber boots!!!!!

Waders is what I was thinking as well. I had a really good pair of thick neoprene waders years ago that were very durable. Not sure about the need to mix the neoprene with gore Tex…. A good slogan would have been… When hip boots are just to tall, we’ve got knee high boots!Looks like a wader material, I’m curious i may just be that one who will give it a go. I was going to buy a new pair of rubber boots anyway however, I was not planning on spending that kindd of money.
my insurance will increase for sure.
You’ve been running in rubber boots for 20 years?! That’s gotta be some sort of record! Did you run all the way across the state of Alabama, Forrest? “I'm pretty tired... I think I'll go home now.”I've been running Muck or Lacrosse for 20 year. They're 150.00 now for some form of neoprene or rubber that if I get 2 years out of them I'm doing well. Have a pair of Arctic Ice on their 2nd season. Had a pair Muck pursuits last that long.
If the Sitka boots made of laminated gore-tex hold up long enough we'd be money ahead, don't think you could justify the purchase another way.
