This may be a dumb question, but I'll ask anyway. I shoot barebow, (semi traditional) and I've been thinking of adding a plunger to my set up. the question is when you pack the riser away in a case, do you keep the plunger installed? Seems like it might get damaged. Thanks for your input.

For those shooting limbs with non-tradition draw force curves (W&W MXT, Gillo, to Uukhas, and more extreme to Borders)what is your experience with arrow spine compared to Easton chart recommendations and traditional limb curves? Any difference for string walking vs. under chin olympic anchor...

Hi All, Returning after yet another hiatus. Your basic “blown shoulder” older guy, only even less muscle than before. I shoot barebow. Situation: Last go, switching down, I bought a pair of low end Uukhas, forgot exact # but, 35-40# range. Hated them. Looked cool tho.😄 Then, picked up my current...

I'm looking for the Spigarelli barebow weights(not the small internal style) that go on the belly of the riser. Photo for reference.

I'm 5'3 skinny male, 120lb, and 25.5 draw length. My goal in archery is target shooting with recurve barebow. I have done a lot of research, and many websites say I should get 66" bow. However, many people suggest Samick Sage for first beginner bow, which is 62". Why do many measurement out...

Has anyone attempted an all-around arrow for indoor/outdoor Barebow (recurve) with a 5mm profile. I am considering Easton Axis or Victory 3DVH. Seems it would be ALMOST as good as 4mm in wind, better for line cutting. I know it wouldn't cut lines like a 23 indoors, but I've seen plenty of X-10s...

Gillo G2 25” riser, $180 tyd. This is the original G2 version not the G2K. I am the original owner and purchased this back in 2017. It’s only been used a handful of times with light limbs and is in fantastic condition. I’m only selling it because I’m moving and need to thin out my bow...

Hi, I am a beginner and new to the forum! I want to get my first set so I can practice more at a local park range that's closer by. Here's the list that I came up with so far. I just want to check if I am missing anything or if these are good matches as my first bow. I am mainly concern about...

Hello, I'm new to archery and picking new quality arrows. I've been able to consistently shoot at distance 10 meters with no-brand arrows, but at 18m/20yard my arrows are all over the target. So I'm looking for quality arrows, which are Easton X10 or Victory VAP at my local store, so I pick VAP...

Hi, I am rather new to archery but am enjoying this so much that I've been practicing everyday for the past 3 weeks, watch a lot of youtube videos, and even bought couple books by Martin L. Godio. I am right handed, stringwalk, and have been able to get tight grouping pretty consistently. I...

I've put about 50K arrows through a low-end ILF setup and now I'm ready to upgrade. Several risers appeal to me (Spigarelli, Gillo, Hoyt, CD) but I'm not convinced spending more actually nets significant gains. I've got a budget of 1400 for a complete bow (riser, limbs, plunger, rest) but some...

I'm mainly traditional/barebow gap shooter but I've started to experiment with stringwalking. My main archery interest is 3D and field archery. I'm not interested in hunting (illegal where I live) and target archery. My ambition is to cover a large range of distances, typically the field archery...

Hi all! I’ve been doing trad archery and 3D shoots for about 8 years but I’m thinking about getting serious with the barebow. Is there a listing somewhere of coaches and locations or styles? There are some people locally who offer lessons but I’d hate to get down the line and realize I was...

My daughter is 14. We are very new to archery. She has been shooting less than a year. She shoots a barebow. We are finally upgrading her PSE bow to a better one. Can I get some ideas on the best riser to get for her? I ordered the WNS FC-100 riser but I just want to make sure I made the best...
