I am building some new target arrows and planned to use hot melt (blue-low heat) for the points initially until I confirm my point weight is right. Then I would want to epoxy them in. How would you prep the shaft to remove all the old hot melt before using the epoxy for a permanent fixation?
I bought two sets of carbon arrows on fleabay.
One set is Game Winner Terminator Carbon Arrows.
The other is Xtreme 4060 Pro Hunter arrows.
It appears to me that the plastic nocks are just pressed into the
tubular arrow shafts. I figured this out when one of the cockfeathers
was not aligned...
