Hi, I'm new to hunting and was wondering if anyone could look at this aerial and topo and somewhat point me in the right direction for stand sights. The 2 upper fields were corn fields and are now plowed up. the lower field is an alfalfa field. I know there is deer here but ever since the fields...
I am hunting on game commission lands the first day of archery season. They do not allow tree stands. I am forced to archery hunt from the ground on Saturday. Any tips of advice to help give me an advantage on the deer?
I am thinking about getting one of these but i have never used one or even talked to anyone who has. how well do these stand and hold in place also how well do they pack in and out as i will be hunting deep in public land from time to time?
Just got the blind setup and brushed in for the first time. Does the brushing look ok? I wasn't sure if I should use bigger branches on the top to break up the outline or not. The left side will be more brushed in, but that's my way in so that's why it's a little cleared.
Myself and one other hunter is interested in hunting wild hogs in Missouri. We would like to find a land owner who would allow us to respectfully hunt on private ground.
Can anyone help us with this?
Gonna be hitting the ol' public ground this weekend to try and get it done on film. Filming for the first season of Hallowed Ground Outdoors, which is premiering next July on The Sportsman Channel. Check out our Facebook page here: http://www.facebook.com/hgoutdoors.
