  2. Can I shorten my Bow String?

    General Archery Discussion
I recently bought the Samick Sage Take Down. The string it came with happens to be longer than the bow itself. Is it possible to shorten the bow string? I already twisted the string. Would it work if I tied two identical knots at the ends of the string?

    General Archery Discussion
Just bought a '90s model Martin Cougar "Speed Flite for bow fishing and need to get the weight down on the bow. How far can I back out the limbs and still be able to safely shoot it. Was told on older bows you can turn out 5 full turns, but don't want to risk it. Limbs are #55-70. Thanks, Jacob
