After launching another arrow over the top of the target due to panic, I am considering a new release. I currently use an index release. I hunt and shoot occasional 3D.
Just wondering if a hinge or a thumb button would help some with target panic? And I really slap the index trigger, so...
Hello, I joined AT to sell my Conquest archery hinge releases. I have one aluminum 3 finger (blue) and one that’s chrome plated brass. I’m looking to get $50 for the aluminum one and $100 for the chrome one. However, I will be willing to sell both of them for $125.
I use an index finger release and squeeze very slowly when I pull the trigger. This leads to me holding the form for longer period of time. If I use hinge release and do back tension would that be faster than squeezing the trigger slowly? With a hinge release can you pull with your back...

So I am in process of making the transition to a hinge release. I have a Stan JetBlack and I like it like a beautiful women.... when it works great the world is perfect but you never know when she might fire off unexpectedly. I followed Padgett's excellent advice re: setting up and I think I...
