Hello, this is my first time on this forum but I am trying to figure out what would be the appropriate spine for my new arrow build. Starting with black eagle rampages 25.5 inches long and 75 grain easton HIT insert with 100 grain tip. I have ran these numbers in multiple arrow spine calculators...
I currently have Gold Tip Hunter Pro shafts with a 300 spine. I am planning on adding 100 grain brass inserts and shooting a 150 grain broadhead for total point weight of 250 grains. I am shooting an RX-7 Ultra at 68 pounds with a 29 inch draw length. Will I be underspined with this much upfront...

That is to say, I'm reasonably confident with most aspects of recurve build, setup and tune ... except that using arrow charts remains a frustrating mystery...

What are some ideas? Or does anyone melt down...

Using the SFA (Pinwheel) software, for a 29.25" arrow at 29" draw (I like my broadhead in front of my knuckles) & 63 lb draw weight, I come up with an optimal spine of 0.339 for a 125 gr head w/ 50 gr insert, and 0.327 for a 150 gr head w/ 50 gr insert.
Using the Archer's Advantage software...
