hi all, does anyone use stereoscopic maps for scouting? saw it years ago. now i have come into possession of a box full of stereoscopic viewers. may keep one, maybe not. what are your thoughts on this?

I need a topo map for hunting and don't want to spend $400.00 on Google Earth to make one. I would like to use google earth to make on though, is there any cheaper way, say getting google earth for a month? Also could I use a car gps for hunting, like a hand held gps. Thank you very much! BBH
