TLDR: the majority of the archery community doesn't understand what causes wind drift, and there will eventually be a chart of vane and broadhead choices to balance drag forces.
Not too long ago I started a thread about vanes to review and ideas for which vanes to include. Since then I've tuned...
Just an extra pack I’ll probably never get around to using, completely unopened. I still have 50 of this color, plus a new pack of another color, and don’t refletch very often. $22 brand new on LAS, I’ll sell for $15 including shipping and paypal.
I have about 3000 vanes that I’m looking to get rid of, a little bit of everything. To make it simple any bag that has 190+ vanes will be $15 TYD less than 190 vanes $10 TYD sizes are roughly 4”, 3”, and 2”
I tried the original KSL Jet6 vanes when they first came out in what 2018? and like many of you was... underwhelmed... lots of hype, not much difference, definitely not worth the upped price. (Although I admit they're absurdly easy/fast to fletch, and that tape is like glue.)*
With that said...

Good morning all,
Just had a thought. What would be the outcome of having, for instance, two 2.75" vanes and two 2.25" (or smaller) vanes. Or any other dimension combo, but the idea of having two different lengths of vanes.
Has anybody been crazy enough to try this?
Have four packs of swift 3.15 inch vanes
Flo-yellow -100 pack
Have four packs of super spine on 3 inch
Flo-yellow- 50 pack

If you want the back of your vanes to be as clean as possible without getting the oil from your fingers on them this tray can help you out. It will keep your vanes organized, keep them vertical, and keep them secure while you build your arrows.

Thoughts on using 2 different kinds of vanes at the same time in a 4 fletches configuration. Let's say AAE pro max at 0 and 180 and AAE hybrid 1.85 at 90 and 270? Crazy thought, or secret genius? I have no idea what would be gained by this, but perhaps the masses of knowledge on here may have...
I’m getting ready to fletch some arrows with AAE Hybrid 23s and I’ve found that I really like these vanes from past times that I’ve fletched arrows. But this time, I’m wanting to see what people find as the optimal distance from end of shaft. Also does length of vane make a difference for how...
I am thinking going to be doing a new set of arrows and looking into vanes to put on it. I want to do a low profile 4 fletch arrows. Not sure if I should do (2.7"L x 0.5" H) ones like the aae max stealth. Max pro which is (1.7" L x 0.46" H). Or like a combo of their hybrid ones. So 2 hybrid 1.85...
Tried these out to see if I could see better shooting 50m target. Turns out I'm just blind and went back to my spinwings (recurve)
Must have been a 53 pack because I fletched an arrow and there are still 50 in the pack.
