I am new to archery. I bought a Hoyt RX7 Ultra with the intent to go bow hunting. I have a browning whisker rest on it, but I would like to upgrade to a Hamskea Trinity. Can someone explain the purpose of the cord that falls down? I've seen some people complain about it, not sure why, never used...

Just wanted to see what the overall experience with each is..i have always used 4" vanes but had an issue with a QAD tearin my vanes up bad..think a spring went bad and its not dropping..anyways thats beside the point i would rather have the whisker biscuit anyways and just wondering if the 2"...

I was wondering which/what type of arrow rest I should be moving to from a whisker biscuit. Currently head down to the range 2-3 times a week to shoot target, shoot outdoors at a cube during the summer months, hunting this fall, and am looking at shooting some 3d tournaments this year...
I have a brand new, without packaging, Tropyh Ridge Whisker Biscut.
I'm not certain of the size, but it does fit the A/C/C arrows and the Carbox Express arrows as well. The hole is too big for the Axis/FMJ arrows I believe.

I have a Golden Key Futura Rover 3D Prong type arrow rest that i bought and never used. It has a Dual Bearing microdrive system. It is right handed and comes with two launchers - TM hunter launcher pins and Medium Golden guide launcher. model ar-4000 right
I have read that a drop-away rest has tuned well for some at around 11/16" and a "containment style" rest has tuned well for some at about 13/16" on the Z7. I have a whisker biscuit on mine and am looking for a starting point from someone else who has tuned this bow with a whisker biscuit...
