is a tribute a bit loud if i put speed cam on it? mine seems to make a twang louder than i want.I have string silencers on it and string stopper and octain stabilizer.How can i make it quieter? and is yours like mine?

Mine is no different with speed mods or smooth mods. Just a little faster.

Mine is completly silent. You may have your string stop set wrong and that could be causing the loud thwack sound.

I found that you have to play with the setting somewhat to get the desired quietness. I have seen some where they have it set off the string as much as 1/16" and others where it is touching. I have an '07 tribute with an STS and it sounds the best with my string touching the pad just enough to provide resistance to a sheet of paper being pulled through it. I recently put new strings on mybow and had to reset this distance somewhat to get it as quiet as possible.
