i am going to order a 2009 airborne soon and i have a question about the poundage. i want my poundage to be in-between 60 and 65 pounds. if i get the 60# limbs they will be fully cranked but if i get the 70# limbs they wont be fully cranked. should i get the 70# limbs or the 60# limbs? whats the difference between having the limbs fully cranked or not fully cranked? (tuning) i would just crank it up to 70 but i feel like i can group way better at around 60-65 pounds. thanks

I have a 101 shooting at 55 lbs with a 368 grain arrow. With 30 inchs of draw it shoots about 277. When you buy the bow retime it on a draw board. Plenty of posts on that to read on at. Go with the 50 to 60 lbs limbs

hmmm still trying to figure out what poundage. whats the pros and cons of 60 or 70? my old bow was a diamond rock and it was 70 pounds. it wasnt hard to pull because it had a smoother draw than the 101st. is a lower poundage more accurate or easier to tune? thanks ps. sorry if im asking too much stupid questions. i just want to buy the right thing if im spending that much $$$. thanks

ballpark ok! with 375/28"/60=270-280fps. depending on cam /limbs/string attachments.

thats close,
my 101 at 60lbs, 28"mod, and 380 grain arrow is doing 280. that is with a loop and g5 peep with the scilencers that BT puts on. it is a 60-70 lb bow

My 101st set at 57lbs (maxed out) with a 28" draw and a 348 grain arrow shoots 292 fps. You will need to buy or make a new string very soon, the serving is total crap!

I also liked the X-force Dream Season very much but it was more money and the serving is crap on it as well. I did think it was a bit quieter though.

It depends on your ability to hold comfortably at full draw. I was shooting 62# on my tribute and could hold all day, now I've got a 101st and 70# limbs and let me tell ya It's a brute............. 30" draw and 352gr arrow, it's shooting 343 fps for 3-d. Now hunting setup I am going back to 60# limbs and will shoot it at 62 and 385 gr arrow. Should shoot close to 310 fps.
