I took my Covert Hunter into the woods …

doing some roving and stump shooting …
as well as practicing for an upcoming hunt this winter …

here´s what my neck of the woods looks like …

most shots where taken between 12 and 30 yards

Great video, but I need a curiosity wuss survey. Show of hands...how many recoiled in horror when he stuck that CH in the creek? Be honest. I confess, I'm a candya***, but I'da walked into that creek naked on my hands before dipping a CH, lol! Apologies to cubefx, I need to read before I post....but now I feel better that I'm not alone in my granny panties!

Good shooting and I hope there weren't any deer watching......My brother and I use to walk the woods near my Dads home and do some stump shooting....we often came across dillers and shooting stumps was a lot safer and allowed retrieving arrows a whole lot better. Dillers would run into a hole and break our arrows.....Fun video to watch!

draw weight is 53 lbs at my 29 inch draw

as for being quiet: arrows used are 10 grains per pound and heavier ...
I do believe that the slide on quiver has got something to do with it as well …

if you are fishing for arrows … make sure you are using a good hook
but seriously .. don’t do this if your string is not properly waxed

talking about dipping your bow into water ...

that brings back some good memories …

did you ever try to swim a couple of hundred yards out too a reef with bow and fishing arrow in your hand?

that inner screw on point is called a "Skipper Stopper" that Martin Archery used to sell ...
