Good afternoon guys. Many of you have been asking for my review on the 2021 Xpedition X33.
Here is my review of the new 2021 Xpedition X33.
Right out of the box I noticed the lighter weight of the bow. It feels lighter but not too light. Another thing that stood out was this year‘s riser along with the cams. They have a very matte finish with no sheen. Hunters should really like this feature heading into the woods.
The overall look of the X33 is very nice amd sleek with many cutouts.
After looking the bow over I went to work setting up the bow getting it tuned and ready for testing. The X33 draws very nice and steady all the way through. It has no big hump and dump as many like to refer to it.
The bows draw cycle reaches peak poundage about 6 inches into the draw cycle maintaining that weight for about 5-6 inches then gradually tapering off until reaching a very solid back wall.
At full draw the bow holds very nice without any significant movement right/left, forward/backwards at the shot. At the shot the bot feels very nice with just a slight bit of vibration and his hunting woods quite.
A bows grip is important to lay shooters. The X33 grip feels very nice with a nice flat back (9/16in wide) allowing the bow to sit nicely at full draw without having to fish for a comfortable grip. There are no side plates on this grip and have several cut outs on the inside.
Now on to what most of you guys want to see, the tuning specs.
