Anyone hearing anything or have any predictions for the 2026 release? Curious if they will release any longer ATA hunting bows.
Doubt the paid "pros" won't even be getting prototypes until summer. If Mathews has nailed down their limb issues and have any kinks ironed out of the tuning system, probably all we will see is ATA changes. They held onto the "V" bows for years, with only ATA difference, before changing up to the Lifts.

I'm also in the camp of not much change other maybe different ATA offerings. Maybe a 28/32 or a 28/31 ATA combo, same riser design, same cams, same tuning. I also wouldn't be surprised to see weight eek back up a few ounces either in comparison to the current 29.5/33 pairing, maybe 4.1/4.4 just to quiet those who say the Lift have more felt vibe than the V3/P4 series. Just total guesses on my part, but there was a lot of refinement and engineering changes in the Lift/Lift X platform, I figure Mathews will settle in now for another year or two with that platform.

Why are bows released one year called the following years model? Shouldn’t a bow that’s released in 25 be the 25 year model and so on? I know this isn’t just bows as it’s cars and other things too. Just never made sense.

The only prediction I’m gonna make is is that with tarriffs having gone into effect so will a huge price increase.
We got an email from TOG last week stating that all products will be going up 10%

Well, Mathews makes their bows in Sparta WI. As such no Tariffs would be levied as that’s the whole point to promote Made in the USA and Mathews is on point there.

If they have foreign materials going into those bows hopefully they will rethink the foolishness of that and find American suppliers going forward.

But there is tarriffs on steel and aluminum so they will be affected in some way

Well sure, but like i said they have a perfect opportunity to start sourcing American Made steel and Aluminum. It’s higher quality stuff anyways.

Not like there isn’t a billion tons of iron ore being mined and shipped all over the world just a few hours North of them out of Duluth. Point being American steel is readily available.

Unfortunately, we do not have the quality, or quantity, of bauxite needed in this country to have true American aluminum. In order to make aluminum we need to import bauxite from Canada and China. While the aluminum itself can be made in the US, the materials to make it have to be imported. Therefore, even US made aluminum is effected by the tariffs.

Not exactly accurate but i see validity in your point.

I don’t want to go off on a long tangent but not along ago, like the 80s, the US was actually the largest producer of Primary Aluminum in the world. We do have bauxite mines in places like Arkansas, Alabama, and Georgia whose production has been significantly decreased. We could and should change that.

That being said something like 80% of the Aluminum produced in the US now is from Secondary production not primary production anyway, so old and new scrap. Remember to throw your old Mathews risers in your recycling bin 😆

But this is about Mathews bows on an archery site so i’ll gladly step off my soapbox now and refrain from further pushing my point, Haha! I appreciate the thought provoking conversation starter though Veritas. You have a great rest of your evening.

i hear they are working on a new invisible camo pattern and bow that you shoot just by looking at it
Brother you sure seem to be in a hurry to access the classifieds, I get it but replying to every recent thread posted in the Mathews section may not get you in any quicker if the Mod's decide that is your ultimate goal, especially when they determine your just posting bs like you did above.
