Way back before good carbon arrows I shot the 2312 and found they bend real easy when shooting hard 3D targets. I'd go with the 2314, but I'd really go with a good Carbon arrow.

Compromise - try a 2412. It's only 10 grains heavier than a 2312 but stiffer spine.

try a fatboy 400 (same outside diamater but stiffer and lighter than a 2312)

or a gold tip 22

i had thought about the 2412 also. i may just have to tweak the ally until she likes the xcutters. they fly good to about 35 yrds but then they wanna get a lil loopy. i cant wait to get my bucknasty strings and get this thing really fine tuned. thanks for the input guys.

or a Beman 9.3. My youngest shoots 2312's and I had to straighten her arrows a few times from hitting who knows what in the bales. Next batch of arrows will be carbon.

I think your 2312's cut down to 26 inches and hot 50 nibbs should fly great out of the Ally with some tuning. If im not to awful bad mistaken the 2314 arrows are .390 spine where as the 2312s are .420 spine. I used to shoot the 2312 arrows pretty reguraly for 3d and never had problems with them bending.

I still use the 2312 for 3D, don't know what the other guys are hitting but I've never had to straighten on them....perhaps improper removal technique on the users part?
