Have been shooting my hoyt hunting bow for a couple years and for some unexplained reason I decided I needed a target bow as well. Target bows....I'm clueless! My question is what type of fletchings should I be using on GT 30X shafts? How long, what type? Gonna try to shoot some 3d and vegas dots. Thx in advance for your help. Sorry for the bone-head question.

High profile blazers if you are going to run them for both. I would fletch them with maybe a 3 degree offset.

blazers??????? I thought I would need a high profile 4-6 inch fletch? See-I told you I didn't know anything.
I personally like blazers or something like the AAE max hunters. Some people like to run something like a 4" high profile vane like a vanetec v-max. I wouldn't shoot feathers outside but thats just me. For 3D i am running blazer X2's on my fatboys.

I have the low profile 4 inch AAEs on my fat boys now but it seems everyone around me are shooting a higher profile 4 inch vane and a lot are feathers. Everything this time of year (in Utah) is indoors.

3" or 4" feathers for me. Because they are lighter they give a better FOC. Black RH helical so I can see them in the target.
