Can anyone tell me of some good places for 3d shooting around Ft. Meade Maryland?
My nephew is getting stationed there and I would like to let him know where to try.

Go to Maryland Archery Associations web site http://www.md-archery.org
The list the club type of shoot ect. They have a map of where each club is located and contact information.

There's an archery range posted on the premises at Fort Meade, though I've never used it. Anne Arundel Archers is the closest club - about 20 minutes away. It's a field archery club with a nice course walking through the woods. The first 3 or four target butts are open to the public for free, but club dues are really reasonable, something like $55/yr.

As for 3d, I haven't found any blind with a good 3d course with 30 minutes. Heart of Maryland Bowhunters has one, as does Baltimore Bowmen. Both are about an hour or so from Meade.
