I had a chance to shoot a 3D round yesterday and Ben Graham, Bowyer of Hummingbird bows joined me. It was great fun and Ben offered me some tips on a few form breakdowns I was having from time to time. Round took a bit longer than normal as we stopped often to show the Hummingbird bows to other archers. I wish I could say that I shot the bow as good as it looks, but had a good time anyway and happy with my first real Trad 3D round.

Ben and Linda are a couple of the great archers in the Trad. family. I always listen to his advice as it has always helped. Got some advice last year at Sherwoods STAR shoot, from Ben, and it really changed my shooting. Coming to full draw with solid anchor for the first time ever. Couple of fellow shooters wanted to take pic of full draw as have been known as a bad snap shooter forever. By the way his 3 piece longbows are some of the best made. Roy

All of Bens bows are works of art , and shoot really smooth out to full draw. No stacking or harsh draw here. Some bowyers bows look chunky, not the Kingfishers. Fellow archer in our club has a Kingfisher 45# w/bamboo backs on limbs and Kingwood belly --one of the best shooting and looking bows ever and smooth.
Only problem is there is only so much time to shoot and the budget also is a problem. Thanks, Roy
