Looking to pick up a 3d suit this year. I hunt in the SE, primarily FL and SC, in a wide variety of enviros (pines, hardwoods, palmettos, prairies, marsh). Currently use a mix of old Military BDUs and picked up a natural gear jacket last year.

I know everyone raves about ASAT, but without a dealer anywhere near to take a gander (i dont like buying things I havent put my hands on yet), I have looked for other options.

This one from BPS is only $80 and the pattern seems like it would be effective. Any real world opinions?

Field Test

I got to field test this with Jerry Martin this year during Turkey Season here at my Ranch, this stuff is Awesome for this Part of the Country. Jerry brought me one of the first Field Model suits, and I love the Stuff, Turkey's did not like it though! That's Jerry on the Right, and I'm in the Middle, you can see how it blends in.

I've handled that exact suit at Bass pro... it's REALLY NICE!!! It's all mesh, so it should breathe very well. MAX-1 is quickly becoming my favorite camo pattern.... I think it's top notch no matter where you are.

Bass Pro also has a Scent Lok jacket in Max-1.... I can't believe how nice looking the camo is on that suit... it's unreal. It's seriously like looking at a photograph or something.... it's amazing how well the Advantage camos take to clothing.

Anyway... get it the leafy suit, you'll LOVE IT!!!

Does Cabela's sell this stuff? I have a Cabela's in my backyard to it would be handy. Looking to get something in the leafy pattern for elk and deer hunting this fall.

Well, after reading the numerous testimonials here and elsewhere, I bit the bullet and just ordered the ASAT 3D

I just had meanv2 order the Scent Blocker Roadtrips clothing for me in Max 1. I agree, I think this is about the best pattern out there now but I'm also very open minded about camoflauge. I dig the ASAT and Predator stuff too but really like this Max 1. I'm even considering taking my bow apart and having the limbs, riser, and cams redipped.

These things look good though with the whole 3d thing goin' on. Is there any interference with the bowstring using this??

WOW... I didn't even know they made that suit in Max-1. SWEET!!!!!!!!!!

Post up pix when you get it... I ALMOST got a pair of scent lok pants today at BPS in Max-1.... had them in my hand and everything... had to put them back.... just couldn't do it.

I WAS TALKING WITH ROB LAST WEEK AND HE HAS OWNED ASAT FOR TWO AND A HALF YEARS NOW AND HE HAS NEVER BOUGHT A SUIT BACK.
