Do you have multiple mounting options ? Like picatinny / side mount / that weird mathews thing ? Great job !

 

It would be easily adaptable for Mathews or picatinny. Just add an extra piece that clamps to the outside with standard sight mounting dimensions.

 

You happy with the overall design ? Feel like you need any changes or fixes ?

Umm this would get you close....but you need to 'shoot in' your third axis.

 

Unless this sets it perfect to what you need....

 

It set my 3rd axis just fine. Leaned a level against the wall with bubble centered and aimed down at it at full draw. Pins and vertical wire in sight housing lined up with the level. Bubble on sight housing was center. Good enough for me deer hunting out to 40 yards.

 

Of course if good enough is good enough....Long shots on steep ground will show you
I know because I made a similar 3rd axis leveling tool.....it gets you close but it won't be perfect. Have you thought about the load on the cables at full draw???

What’s the cost on one of these for us who don’t have a 3D printer? I’ve been looking at a way to set axis but can’t justify the cost of the metal one.

 

Are you willing to share or sell the stl files? I have a friend with a 3D printer I may be able to get to make this for me.

 

Have you played with filament? I did print bow legs / stand in PLA and after a while outside ~ 1.5-2 years of shooting I have noticed embrittlement. I have considered switching to a Carbon based filament. I am sure you are using a strong infill pattern to maintain the trueness. Pretty awesome job. Now you just need to start your patent and get to selling.

 

I'd also like to have the STL files if you're willing to share.
