anyone else here heading to the chaparossa ranch in TX for javi hunt on feb 19th? The anticipation has about got me beat.

It’s the last one, been doing it 40 years ( different ranch’s) and this is the last year for it. It’s more a party then a hunt really. But good times.

Look up Texas shoot out, I know registration has expired. They had 218 people signed up for it( the last I checked) . And they allow 300, so not sure if they except “ walk ons “ or not. There will be a contact number on that sight though.

It's a javelina archery only hunt (also wild hog, yotes, rabbit etc)

Registration had expired, but it's a 5 day hunt with camping included and it's the last one because the guy that runs it is "retiring"

Yeah, things get fun at night... but if you don't wanna have fun, don't participate in camping festivities just do your own thing. It's a 50k acre ranch you've got plenty of room.

I think he needed all pre reg by Monday. Total is in the 280s I believe
