I'm ready to go. Waiting on opening day now. Won't like hunting in the sept heat but I have to get out there, know what I mean. I'll be hunting hard during my vacation. I'm on vacation from the middle of october till the middle of november, prime time can't wait.

I'm NOT ready. I got sole permission to hunt 240 acres but I haven't gotten out to scout it yet. It has to be a biggun to shoot in Sept or early Oct. I love hunting the prerut and rut!

Always behind

Always feel I'm behind. Some stands are up. The food plots are looking alright. They'll get their last mowing in late September. Saw a good ol bigg'n a couple of weekends ago. It's hard to see anything with the 10' corn, 5' beans and heat shimmer through the spotting scope in 100+ degree weather.

I'm not really ready at all.

A couple buddies and me have permission to hunt 1400 acres up around Maryville. We're planning on going up in the next couple weeks to scout, hang stands and take the landowners out to dinner. When that's done, I'll feel alittle better about my situation.

Still gotta keep shooting, too. I'm not as good as I want to be. (Are we ever?)

I'm just about there. Two more stands to hang and a little clearing here and there and we'll be good to go. Been scouting all year and have some great little holes that need to be hunted.

My bow's ready.
Got some climbing sticks setup, but no stands yet.
Kinda hard to get motivated to hang stands when it's 102!!

Come on Fall!!!
